Meet Aaron Boyd

Mr. Aaron Boyd is a distinguished figure in the field of education and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Assyrian Christian Schools, bringing with him over thirty years of experience in both educational and professional industries.

Leadership Roles and Achievements

Mr. Boyd collaborates closely with the Assyrian Christian Schools Board and provides leadership for both St Narsai Assyrian Christian College, St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School and Early Learning Centre. His tenure is marked by a steadfast commitment to ensuring quality student outcomes through a focus on academic excellence, strong leadership, and community service.

Educational Career Journey

Mr. Boyd’s journey in education encompasses a diverse range of roles in both independent and government schools. Previously, he served as the CEO/Executive Principal at Unity Grammar, where he spearheaded significant transformations in academic results, student well-being, infrastructure, and community engagement. His tenure at SCECGS Redlands saw him in pivotal roles such as Chief Operating Officer, Head of Extracurricular Programs and Operations, and Dean of Studies, overseeing substantial enhancements in academic and extracurricular programs.

Professional Recognition and Publications

Mr. Boyd’s contributions extend beyond the confines of school walls. He is a published author of student textbooks and teaching resources and has been recognised with awards such as the NSW Premier and Australian College of Educators Award for Quality Teaching.

Active Engagement Beyond Education

Beyond his roles in education, Mr. Boyd actively engages in advisory capacities. He served as a member of the Workforce Skills Policy Committee for Business NSW, offering expert insights on education-related matters to government and stakeholders. Additionally, he has provided his expertise to a Not-for-Profit Foundation, providing educational and technical advice and advocating for the organization’s mission.

Educational Qualifications and Personal Life

Mr. Boyd’s academic journey includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wollongong, a Master of Education (MEd) from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) from the Australian College of Physical Education. Outside of work, he resides in Sydney with his wife, Melissa, and their two children, Sarah and Bradley.
