Issue 1: Term 4, 2024

Staff and students were blessed on October 29th by the historic Prelates’ visit to the college. Students and staff were overjoyed to welcome His Holiness, Mar Awa III Royel, Catholicos Patriarch, His Eminence, Mar Meeliz Zaia AM, His Grace, Mar Benyamin Elya, His Grace, Mar Elia Isaac as well as other special guests.

Issue 1: Term 3, 2024

This year’s NAPLAN results are again a cause for celebration for our college community. Both Year 7 and Year 9 students have achieved significant results, topping the national average across the domains of Writing, Grammar and Punctuation, Spelling and Numeracy. These impressive results have come about as a consequence of concerted and consistent teaching and learning practices at the college.

Issue 2: Term 2, 2024

All Years 7-10 students sat the Half-
Yearly exams last week and it is
wonderful to report that students did
well in these exams and were well
prepared.

Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful and amazing mothers and may God keep all our college mothers well and in good health always.
The college hosted a special, Mother’s Day Lunch on Monday, 13th May where we welcomed many of our college mothers and other mothers from the St. Mary Church retirement village.

Issue 3: Term 1, 2024

College students and staff commemorated mid fast three weeks ago, and students and staff volunteered within the Christian Studies department to bake and distribute special cupcakes for all students and staff as we continue to observe our Church tradition of “Pallo”.

Issue 2: Term 1, 2024

College students and staff welcomed the start of the Great Fast for the Feast of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (Easter) two weeks ago through daily prayers in every homeroom as well as weekly special prayer services at the College organised by Miss. Kako, our Christian Studies Co-ordinator and conducted by our Chaplain, Fr. Shamuel.

Dear Parents, Students and friends of the College, I am delighted to welcome you- our existing St. Narsai college families back to St. Narsai College. I also extend a very warm welcome and greetings to the new families and students from Year 7 and from other years who have joined our college community this year. I pray you and your families have had a restful summer break with your loved ones and are excited as we embark on a new school year in 2024.

Dear Parents, Students and Friends,
As I reflect back to the 2023 school year and considering the pleasing progress made by our wonderful students in every area, I can’t help but to be proud of the community of St. Narsai Assyrian Christian College for what we have achieved together this year.

Issue 2: Term 4, 2023

College students and staff took part in this year’s Remembrance Day that was held on Friday, 10th November 2023. Students across the college reflected on and revisited the
circumstances around World War One and the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers and all who served in defence of our great country Australia. I take this opportunity to
thank Miss. Nona, our HSIE Coordinator and other staff for organising this significant commemoration.
